Recent Guidelines have been published giving advice on when to return to running after having a baby. I made this video based on exercises that you should be able to do symptom-free before you go back. These drills presume you have gradually built up your pelvic floor and core strength, are feeling ready to run and are injury-free. The advice is to wait 3 months before you get back to running and to go for an individual assessment with a physiotherapist if you are having any issues with your pelvic floor including leakage or pressure. Try this 20 minutes video to see if you are ready or WERE READY!! If you find it challenging you could also add the exercises to your cross training day ! Would love to know how you get on!
