Sports Injuries

I use manual techniques, including joint mobilisations, soft tissue massage, myofascial trigger point release, western medical acupuncture and dry needling to treat sports injuries. Your treatment session will last approx 45 minutes depending on your injury, and it will include a specific home exercise program to facilitate recovery at home and to target any contributory muscle imbalance.

The following sports injuries respond well to physiotherapy:

  • Neck pain
  • Low Back Pain
  • shoulder pain
  • Repetitive strain injury at the elbow and wrist
  • low back or pelvic pain
  • ilio-tibial band syndrome
  • knee pain
  • plantar fasciitis
  • running injuries in the lower leg and feet
  • Sacro-iliac joint dysfunction
  • cervicogenic headache
